Recently I purchased ARTech Textureline Smoothing Serum at the salon I always go to. I had been using it for about 3 weeks when I noticed that I was getting this flaky white buildup on my hair. I had never had this before. I used a good clarifying shampoo and that did not remove the buildup. Every time I brushed my hair, tons of white flakes would fly up (it's not dandruff, this stuff is actually glued onto my hair shaft) but it would not go away completely. I stopped using the product and it still didn't go away. Finally today I went to get my hair cut and I told my stylist about it. She shampooed me THREE times in a row with clarifying shampoo, and the 3rd time, she even used a comb to try to loosen the stuff off. It didn't even budge. It's like my hair is coated in "glue". I am so embarassed!
I will never again use anything from ARTech. This garbage ruined my hair!!
Yikes, sorry to hear that. Try Biosilk Silk Therapy or Matrix Sleek.Look Extreme Cream. Neither one flakes and they never weigh my hair down so it feels like it's coated with glue.
