The punk thing isn`t my forte, but my friend uses egg whites. At first I was "Ew!" when I found out, but it really isn`t that bad looking.

Hey.. I think that its cool.. its different! which is always awesome.. who wants to be the same as everyone else! BOOORING! (i have blue highlights!)
anyway.. it sounds odd.. but use white glue!.. a friend spikes his hair all the time and thats what he uses.. it works great.. dilute it a BIT with some water.. then you wont be all white and snot looking in your hair.
anyway works great.
