Alright i have a tad of a dilemma (sp).
I have a big vacation(school trip) comin up pretty soon. I`m getting my haircut about 2 weeks prior to the trip and I`m not sure what I should do. Normally, I blow dry my hair and i try to set it every other day. But because of our scheduling i`m not sure what i should do because i wont have any time in the morning to do either of those. My mom says I should get my haircut above my shoulders and thinned out so i really wont need to blow dry it to get it straight. But then, I have a huge competition for dance the week I come back from my trip and i need to wear my hair in a side bun. I don`t know what I should do when I go get my hair cut. Because if i get it cut above my shoulders, it would be hard to get my hair into a side bun when i come back... but it would be easier to work with during the week. I am ready to try something different with my hair but like, i don`t know if this is the time i should attempt it. Right now my hair is 3 inches below my shoulders, brownish, kinda frizzy and wavy and has layers and angles in it.
I`ve decided definitely over the summer I want to go short, like ,maybe just below my chin... I`m nervous about going short tho, my hair has been long my entire life!
HELP

Hmmmm... Well, I have wavy hair that can go wavy and very poofy + frizzy, and maybe you should try some products to help w/ this like frizz ease, etc. I don`t know if your hair is dry, but if it is then try some deep conditioners. Cutting your hair is the kind of tricky part cuz u can`t go too short b cause of your dance thing. To tell you the truth, hair usually gets wavier and puffier when its cut shorter. Maybe if you get it cut so that it`s just a tad below your shoulders, w/ some long layers, than it will be not so much of a nightmare to deal with. Make sure u tell your stylist about the trip, etc., and maybe they can help as well. I think the key is to find some products that can help w/ the frizzyness. Hope I helped a little:)
