QuoteReplyTopic: How do they do that??? Posted: April 29 2001 at 1:54pm
How do you put your hair up in a messy bun? Everytime I try it never looks right. It`s where it`s pulled tight back and then there are little pieces sticking of the bun. I dunno how to explain it. Can anyone help?
hey! I`M NOT SURE BUT I THINK THAT U HAVE TO PUT YOUR HAIR IN A PONY TAIL THEN U KNOW HOW U ONLY PULL IT OUT HALF WAY WELL THAT IS BACKWARDS U START FROM UDER YOUR PONYTAIL AND THE PULL IT THROUGH...ITS HARD TO EXPLAN BUT MINE NEVER COME OUT GOOD EITHER! GOOD LUCK! C YA
Well, I also don`t really know how to do that but I think it just sort of happens naturally if your hair is not really long and you have layers. Because of the layers, some hair just kind of sticks out. My hair is cut pretty much all one length so either it all sticks out or none of it does.
mine turn out great all you do is pull your hair into a ponytail. not to high but medium. then you separate the hair in your ponytail, pull half of it to the front of your head and hang on to that, and let the rest hang down. then mess up the part that is in your hand. then gruadally pull the hair that is hanging down into the ponytail and mess that up also. then put a ponytail around it to keep it in place and put clips along the base of it to keep the long strands of hair from `flying/going` everywhere! small pieces SHOULD stick out of the bun.
hope i was of some help and that it turns out right. if you have any trouble @ any time you can email me and i will try to help you as best as can be.

also, most people think you need to have short or layered hair, but i have long hair and it always looks nice.
