My hair is shoulder length, medium thickness. if i towel-dry it, and let it air dry, it`s a little curly/wavy, and POOFY/FRIZZY. if I air dry it (without my hair touching a towel), combing it periodically, it`s mostly straight, except the front which gets a little wavy and FRIZZY.
I`ve had bad luck with blow drying - i can never get it straight, and it always goes frizzy.
1. can someone tell me how to blow-dry my hair properly?
2. what are the BEST frizz control products? (i recently bought new shampoo/conditioner [conair brand...really good stuff] so i can`t buy new ones)
3. got any hair styles/tips for shoulder-length hair? pictures?
sounds similar to my hair! lol. well, fizz ease makes a good serum that you comb thru frizzy hair to tame it....and the good thing about this serum is that you could blow dry your hair straight or if u dont have time or that much patience, you could let it go wavy. w/o the frizz. if you do insist on blow drying, you should have a good dryer first of all and have a nozzel attacthment to direct the air in one direction.. usually they look like wide slots, and you just put it on the end of the blow dryer. then, you should have a good, natural bristle brush that is round and should be of medium to large barrel sized. (you can go to a store and have someone help you if u dont understand my terminology, someone there will!). then you should clip off your hair into sections. dry one section at a time, using your nozzel, and pointing the air flow down.... from roots to ends. please do not make the mistake of holding the dryer on one spot for too long or holding the dryer too close. this could badly damage your hair!! hope this works out for you. happy drying!
hi. me again. i made a typo when telling you the name of the serum. it is FRIZZ EASE. forgot the r. lol. also, about the haircutting thing. layers are nice, but make sure they are long layers. otherwise hair will poof out even more! thats the only rule really.
