let us think now. are either of the last 2 replies answering the original question? no. therefore, neither are helpful. however, i`m not here to bitch. I believe there are detailed instructions on both of these things at this site, but they are simple enough that i can explain them here. a bun is created thus: 1. Make a ponytail 2. Twist the ponytail until it begins to collapse on itself 3. Twirl the tail around itself in a coil--like a snail`s back. 4. Tuck the end under the rest of the bun 5. Take a few bobby pins and push them in around the edges, being sure to catch both the bun and the hair underneath it. Braids are created thus: 1. Make a ponytail 2. Divide the ponytail into three strands, strand A, strand B and strand C 3. Cross strand C over strand B. now they are ACB. 4. Cross A over C. CAB. 5. Repeat the process, always crossing the far right over the middle, then the far left over the middle, until you are finished.

Glad to know of people who like buns and braids. Nice instructions, hairdesigner. I think you`ll be useful to lots of people. The simple art of making a good bun seems to be getting lost. And Lopez-Fitzgerald, WHAT is your problem?
