what do readers think of this fringe thing as i am only 12 i have never had one .so any older pepole who have them tell me what they are like some grils i know and myself are thinking of getting them ,it just means we get our front cut of our longish hair so shouldnt be to bad ?

hi rachel thanks but can you teell me because i thought bangs were just little long bits at side i got told a fringe is like in front on your forehead and goes about dowwn to your eye brows and is cut not styled straight across ,because if i get this fring thing then there is no turning back once it is cut..so rachel please is what i was told right or areeeeeee bangs and fringe the same or what?/ find me a pick with bangs and one with fringe if that is easyer to explaine it to me. thanks..what kinda style did you get ,do you like it,ive had long hair all my life and am sick of it so i do want to go short but not too short i also like straight edges,um straight cut do you know what i mean thanks also do you color or have highlights ect

Hi Wendy. Yes, Bangs and fringe are the same. Do this. Go to www.hairboutique.com then click on hairstyle gallery. Next find the box that says GO TO STYLE # and type in 4600. the model has bangs or fringe......they`re the same. My hair was long about 4 inches past my shoulders. Last week I cut it with longer pieces in the front a little shorter than chin length and shorter in the back ....about to the jaw line with a tiny bit inverted at the nape. I may have bangs (fringe) cut in later but not now. I love my new look!!! I`ll grow my hair longer later but for now i love the new me!!! Later Oh yeah....sorry I`ve never colored my hair but I`ve highlighted it. It is not highlighted now. My haiir is kind of brown and auburn. It`s my natural color. Later

thankx rachel you have been a big help ,i checked out style 4600 for the fringe bangs ,and see what you mean ,i dont know what all the fuss is a bout ,i like this style and it wouldnt be too short ,do you think style 4600 would suit a 12yr old with long straight hair ,is it a trendy sytle? would it be good for school and would others like it.pls racheal

Hi Wendy. Ok, here are some styles that I think you could use. You could go longer or shorter and with or without bangs (fringe). Style #s4600 a classic, 3826 with without bangs,4786, 5027,4902,4555, 3821,4684,3788. My hair is cut in a shorte version of 3788. the front is just above my chin with the back shorter and a tiny inverted at the nape. I hope it helps.

Wendy go for it chop your bangs you will look good. Trim your hair just above your shoulders, blunt cut, and cut your bangs to mid forehead straight across. You willl look real cute. Just remember bangs grow fast so if you don`t like them they will grow out fast.
from a guys view longer fringes are more appealling but hey it is your choice,just thought id say as my girlfriend has gone to the toilet and left computor on this site so i had a peek ,she actually has been on this site for about two hours now and hasnt left a message but if she sees this them she is gona kill me she has brownish hair with highlights and a fringe thing her hair comes about shoulder blade length and is cut straight across she is think of going shorter i have been asked what i think and i say its her choice but remember you dont wanta look silly ,she likes these bob styles which i like too and as i told her it is hair it grows and grows ..well when you are young that is .here she comes so bye all brent
