New Haircut, New year

I have 2 inches past shoulder lenght layered hair I need a new style but not too much taken off eg. no bobs. I had a nasty experience w/ them. Also how can I get layers taken out

since you don`t want a bob try a pixie, if you get the right kind they can be easy to style just ask the stylist for a wash and go style, as for layers just let them grow or cut your hair shorter then your layers, the later is probley a better idea depending how short your layers are. And perms are good as Luci said.
