Okay, this has probably been asked before, but I`m gonna ask it again. Okay you know how Gwen sometimes does her hair up in those little I don`t know...kind of "roll" things on each side of her head? I hope someone knows what I`m talking about because if not, there`s not much else to explain about it. You know, its like 1/2 up 1/2 down, and its rolled up on each side. Well, if you know what I`m talking about and know how to do it, PLEASE post back--I think it`s so cool and I`ve tried it but I dont know what Im doing so it never looks right. Thanks!

I know the style, it`s in the `Hey Baby` video. I`m not sure how to do it though, but maybe someone else who has seen this video will know. Maybe do a search online for retro-hairstyles?

Oh, you mean knots? i know how to do those.. I found `em in my hair book. Except you just leave part of it hanging down.. Go to a search engine and type in Hair Styles, Knots. it might come up with something.

yeah whoever recognized what I was talking about as being the style in the "Hey Baby" video was right...I found a picture of it but I don`t know how to put a link in here so anyway....I figured out how to do the roll things (pretty simple) just now I can`t figure out how to secure it. I was using bobby pins, but it doesn`t stay tight enough or anything and it just looks weird. Now if anyone can help me with phase 2 of my problem, I`d REALLY appreciate it--thanks!

I know exactly what you`re talking about and have wondered the same thing. My best guess is she pins it up somehow or uses lots of hair wax, but I have no clue.

With hairstyles that need to be like frozen so they stay in place, I would suggest using shockwaves hair spray in freeze. I spike my hair up punk style and my hair is shoulder length so it works!

well, i like liked gwen''s hairstyle in the video "don''t speak"
though maybe it''s an older video and not the latest trend in hairstyles, i really love that side-parted look with two small hairclips at the other side.

i saw someone when i was on vaca that had the roll style almost exactly like hers. It looked really greasy and gross up close though. far away it was kinda weird. i dont know how Gwen does it, but she can pull off anything.

Remeber Gwen has a professional stylist that does her hair, and she gets it touched up alot.
