Hi, my hair has been around shoulder-length or just above for as long as I can remember, and I think it`s about time for a change. I want to go quite a bit shorter, but I really don`t want a fringe. I used to have one and it was just annoying, especially when I do cross country, so I`m looking for something with some sort of parting. My hair is quite thick and naturally wavy (although I don`t mind straightening it and my hair doesn`t seem to mind either) and it`s a sort of auburn colour. It`s in good condition and I`ve never dyed/permed it or anything.

So what sort of thing do you think I should try?

Hey!!! I know how you feel, I just cut my past shoulder legnth hair yesterday (against the advice of my boyfriend)....If feels so good...I cut it about 1/2 to 1 inch below my chin.....it feels so good, it`s so much cooler and healthier...anyways back to you if you have a "skinny" face this is a good look. It isn`t "too short"....b/c i still have hair but not too long either...ie it doesn`t get in the way. So if you want an easy shorter do this one is great.....if you want a pic you can e-mail me.......best of luck....
