what do guys like?

I was just wandering if anyone knows what type of hair styles that guys like? I thought it would be kinda interesting to hear what some of you have to say. Thanks. Curly gal

I like from about chin length to shorter (but not buzzed). I also like the kinda "wild" or "messy" look unless it is a stacked bob. I very much love short bangs (about 1" above the eyebrows)

I guess I would fall under your stereotype that all guys love long hair. To me, there is nothing more attractive then seeing beautiful, healthy, well looked after, long hair. It shows me that the girl puts an effort in to look her best, and keep her hair long.

Also, I believe its really sexy when girls wear their hair up in a variety of ways. With long hair you can do so many things with it, and that catches a lot of attention.

See, now that`s what I`m talking about..........guys liking long hair......and it`s so weird to hear some of you guys say that you like the short cuts. Or maybe it`s just me. I know that I like it when a guy has his hair cut short and when he spikes it or does something to it that`s not "following the crowd."

I`d have to say I love long hair too. It does sound stereotypical but I find short hair not very nice and boring. I like unnatural colours like purple and I find golden blonde nice too.

But you shouldn`t care what other people think. Do what you want with your hair. Don`t try to follow trends, be yourself. You`ll end up happier.

My preferences would have to be a chin length bob or long long curls. I seem to like the extremes and find medium length hair boring. Color wise, I`m a sucker for redheads. But hair is just hair and not the end all.

My roommate and co-worker for the summer is a girl with long red curly hair which is natural. That`s the
first "rule" in what I prefer in the opposite sex (note I do not say in girls, because girls have as much a
right to advertise their preferences in boys as the other way around) - be natural. I would like a girl to
be comfortable with the color and texture of her hair and resist perming/chemically straightening, dyeing,
bleaching, and highlighting their hair. One`s natural color is what one is intended to have, and I find it
silly that people treat their hair as if it were a hat. Chemical treatments are unhealthy for the hair and can
result in major disasters on naturally beautiful hair. I really couldn`t care much what a girl`s hair color is
naturally - most colors are beautiful in their own way. I do love blondes and redheads, as long as they`re
not phoney (by blonde, I mean also dark "blaah dishwater" blonde. Yes, I actually like that color, but it`s
probably the least liked and most chemically-altered color around.) I just like people to be themselves and
to appreciate their natural colors and stuff. Any color hair can be nice if it is worn right. I will concur that
very long hair on girls is beautiful (not enough of it around in my opinion) but also appreciate neat bobs
(basically one length or angled with a wedge in the back). Hair worn in neat buns and braids is great.
Turnoffs for me are big bangs, shaggily-cut ("layered") hair (lightly layered hair is okay if all the layers are longer than the shoulders and are done neatly, personally I think it`s just another reason for stylists to charge more), pixies (generally but not universally, I don`t like real short hair on girls, but then I appreciate longer
hair on guys too) and anything punky, unnatural looking etc.

Ultimately of course it`s your hair, and different guys like different things as you can see above (no, all guys
don`t fancy long hair, but many of us do.) Being yourself and following fashion only to the extent that you
can honestly say you like it is wise in my opinion.

Do any other guys have opinions like this? If so, I`d love to hear them.

well hello Ha, it`s nice to hear from someone who is not too liberal.....you sound very open-minded about this topic.....you must just like girls in general no matter what their hair looks like, right?

you had me a little scared there for a minute when you said that you don`t like it when girls use gel and crap on their hair......I have naturally curly hair and in order for my hair to look good, I have to use a certain amount of gel to control the frizz.....some people can get away without using all that stuff, but those of us blessed with a head full of curls are less fortunate.
