I have planned as usual to have my haircut in the summer. I just graduated 8th grade and I would like to know what is trendy in the high school. I was wondering if I should have it cut in a bob with a buzzed nape, but I need advice before I have my locks cut on Tuesday.`
Thanks

This is probably late, sorry. I think an inverted bob not buzzed nape would be cute, maybe add soft bangs.

Well I had it done yesterday.
My length reached about to my bra strap. They took me right away and asked how I wanted it cut, I pointed to the bottom of my ear lobes, with a buzzed nape. They started working on the back and took 10 inches off, before getting the clippers out. I was so scared when they started buzzing, it felt like forever, but they were doing it gradually, they started with a 4 and went down to a 1/2. Next they started on the front, they got the bulk off with the scissors, but then they took a razor and created a face frame that is nice and light, and bounces around. They razored lots of layers around and finished by curling the ends under my ear. It took my hairstylist about an hour, but she is a perfectionist!

But now I really want to dye my hair to a brighter blonde, but I want to be risky and do it myself, any hints or tricks of the trade?

Sounds really cute. Get a professional to do the dye job (at least the first time) Would you leave the buzzed area your "natural" color and the rest the lighter blond?

Go to the salon if you`re going to dye your hair...
I`ve read so many posts from people who dyed thier own hair, and had it turn to mush, or their hair really died out and turned strawlike, or started falling out, or something else, and it was so damaged they had to cut all the damaged part off.
So, do your hair a favor and go to a professional.:D
