Here`s a little survey to let me and everyone else know your opinions about a few different issues on hair. Just cut, copy, and paste the questions and fill in the answers.

2. What`s the best length for a guy`s hair? Girl`s hair? Guy`s hair should be no longer than the chin....Girl`s hair should be long enough to tell that she`s a girl
3. What works best, mousse or gel? gel is good for control....mousse is good for body and healthiness
4. What`s your favorite shampoo? Why? I prefer Suave....you don`t have to spend a fortune to get a good shampoo....this shampoo makes your hair really soft and it smells good too
5. What`s your favorite conditioner? Why? Any conditioner really....I usually buy Suave though
6. Is your hair naturally straight, wavy, or curly? Do you like it? Definitely curly and yep, I like it.
7. Do you blow dry or air dry? Air dry....curly hair cannot be blow dry because it causes too much damage
8. Which do you prefer.....ponytail or half-way up? ponytail
9. Does your hairstyle reflect who you are? Most definitely they do
10. Do you enjoy making your hair look nice? Yep, all the time...it`s fun creating new styles and even doing some of the traditional ones too

3. What works best, mousse or gel? Have never used any...
4. What`s your favorite shampoo? Why? Pantene Pro V, I have used it in the past and was very pleased with the way it made my hair look, smell and feel.
5. What`s your favorite conditioner? Why? Pantene Pro V, (Ditto on above answer)
6. Is your hair naturally straight, wavy, or curly? Do you like it? naturally straight/wavy

9. Does your hairstyle reflect who you are? I think this question can be taken a few different ways, but here is my first response: Yes. I feel that I am a very positive person and I am happy with the way I look and part of my look is my waist length hair. AND No. I am going to cut my hair next month to donate it to Wigs For Kids, and even with short hair I will be the same person
10. Do you enjoy making your hair look nice? I go for the "Natural" look, so I don`t really have much to do and I have been told my hair looks nice.

1. What`s your favorite color for hair? My hair is dark borwn, I like it, I tend to like dark hair on guys, brown or black
2. What`s the best length for a guy`s hair? Girl`s hair? For guys hair I like short, the messy look that is a little bit longer is good too. For girls shoulder lengthed.
3. What works best, mousse or gel? I`ve used both and I like mousse better.
4. What`s your favorite shampoo? Why? I like system biolage, because it smells good and makes my hair look great, but since it`s so expensive I use the Suave biolage with pretty much does the same thing for my hair.
5. What`s your favorite conditioner? Why? same as above
6. Is your hair naturally straight, wavy, or curly? Do you like it? My hair is strait, kinda wavy if I let it air dry. I doesn`t hold curl that well for very long, so sometimes I wish it was curly, but I know if I got a perm I would regret it.
7. Do you blow dry or air dry? Usually blow-dry b/c my hair is wavy and frizzy if I don`t.

4. What`s your favorite shampoo? Why? herbal essence volumizing shampoo because it smells good and makes my hair less flat
5. What`s your favorite conditioner? Why? i don`t know because i don`t normally use conditioner because it makes my hair go limp
6. Is your hair naturally straight, wavy, or curly? Do you like it? i have naturally straight hair i like it because if i wat it curly i can and if i want it striacht i can unlike ppl with curly hair somtimes can`t fully straighten it
7. Do you blow dry or air dry? i normally air dry but i sometimes blowdry
8. Which do you prefer.....ponytail or half-way up? i don`t like my self with a full ponytail but it looks good for other people so i prefer half up
9. Does your hairstyle reflect who you are? umm i dunno if it reflects who i am but it reflects what i like
10. Do you enjoy making your hair look nice? sometimes but othertimes it just ******es me off!
1. fave colour: maybe dark brown?
2. guys: whatever works. gals: likewise, but generally short catches my eye more.
3. mousse or gel: wax.
4. fave shampoo: head & shoulders. the no-nosense workhorse of the hair cleaning world.
5. fave conditioner: don`t use one.
6. straight, curly, wavy: straight, but that doesn`t mean it`s manageable.
7. blow dry or air: towel + air.
8. ponytail or halfway up: ponytail, and please, not the scraped-back "look how big my forehead is" look.
9. hairstyle reflecting self: well i`m conservative, straight, and fairly short, so yes i guess it does :)
10. do you enjoy making it look nice: i don`t spend any more time on it than i need to (5 mins).
Wow, I`m kinda surprised at how many different opinions there are. I noticed that everyone who replied liked a different type of shampoo, conditioner, etc.
Thank you all for your opinions....filling out this simple survey gives me (a future cosmetologist) a larger perspective of what people like and what`s more important to them.

3. What works best, mousse or gel? neither. they both leave hair sticky and gross
4. What`s your favorite shampoo? Why? shampoo is evil and does bad things to hair. but i use suave when i absolutely need to wash my hair...plus its cheap :)
5. What`s your favorite conditioner? Why? suave because its cheap
6. Is your hair naturally straight, wavy, or curly? Do you like it? its naturally wavy and i like it. it has body but its still shiny and soft

9. Does your hairstyle reflect who you are? yes because people usually forget my name and call me `that girl with the long brown hair`

2. What`s the best length for a guy`s hair? Girl`s hair? It all depends on face shape. Personally I like 2-3 inches max. on a guy (specifically, MY guy.) For my own hair, I like it best when it`s long, as in six inches past my shoulders. But some ladies (Halle Berry!) look waaay better with short short hair. Look how her career exploded after she got the pixie cut! (Well, her talent and amazing beauty helped out too :-)
3. What works best, mousse or gel? Gel all the way for me. Mousse is best for volume and my hair`s got brickloads of body to begin with.
4. What`s your favorite shampoo? Why? Phyto Systeme Hydro-Botanics Shampoo. Sooooo rich and great for dry hair. Smells like a mixed drink I had on my 21st birthday....not that I can remember its name...
5. What`s your favorite conditioner? Why? Clairol Color ProTec Daily Replenisher. Although it`s supposed to be for colored hair it is fabulously moisturizing. Aura Almond Cherry Bark is a close second.
6. Is your hair naturally straight, wavy, or curly? Do you like it? Wavy and prone to frizz. I hate that. My mother`s got beautiful straight shiny hair that she complains endlessly about. I don`t see why (although she curls her bangs into this horrible hydrangea-like ball.) I style my hair stick straight. Only then am I satisfied.
7. Do you blow dry or air dry? Blow dry when I want to look really good. Air dry my hair in a bun with a faux hair piece for days at the office.
8. Which do you prefer.....ponytail or half-way up? Half-way up. Best of both worlds.
9. Does your hairstyle reflect who you are? Absolutely. When my hair is stick straight and longer than my shoulders I always feel more like myself. I`d love to try a short cut but I can`t picture myself like that.
10. Do you enjoy making your hair look nice? I like the finished result. Hate the process.

Preferably dyed, I like Blonde (Lightish yellowy blonde on me but golden on girls) I like unnatural colours like purple, and I`ve taken a liking ot blueygreeny aqua colours lately. I like reddish brown too.

People seem really prejudiced against guys with long hair =( My hair is about 7 inches long (5 and a bit at the back for some reason) but I`d like it to be about 4-6 inches below my shoulders maybe a little longer/shorter I`m not really sure how long that is. On girls I really don`t like short hair unless It`s sorta waveycurly. I like really hair, like waste length hair and anything from breast length down is really nice.

It`s a mess. It`s really wavy, but it`s messiness makes it look curly. It goes straight in parts when I come it or if it`s even a small bit wet. No, I don`t like it but apparently It`ll be like this until my hair grows out and then It`ll be normal wavy. I`d prefer it straight. I really don`t like curly hair I like it on girls better not on me =(

I dunno. I blow dried my hair once or twice just for a laugh.

Wha? Is still some secret girl language? I like hair down I think that pony tails(only when worn nearly everday though sometims they can look nice) and hair clips represent the "Just throw it together, it`ll do" edness of society.

Well, I`m messy and Chaotic. I like Chaotic but not messy =(

Not much I can do about it really...
This is my signature. It's not a very good signature, but it's a signature nonetheless.
Natural, like someone else said. I have no problem with people dyeing their hair but keep it reasonable; if it didn`t occur in nature, that ought to be a good sign for you to stay far far away. Blondes should not go black and vice-versa. Natural blondes are usually lightly-complected and the overdyed black hair makes them look washed out. Natural dark-brunettes are generally the opposite [at least those with black hair], and the bleach-white/blonde hair makes them look like a photographic negative.

As a male myself, I have hair that is several inches below my shoulders and I like it; it doesn`t look like every other guy`s hair at my school. I grew my hair long because I enjoy it, not to purposely be different, but being able to be recognized in a crowd is a definite perk. I personally think either gender should go with what style they like best. If a girl likes to go bald and a boy likes Rapunzel-length tresses, I say more power to them.

On my bushels of curls, gel works best. Mousse only makes my hair stiff and gives volume, something that I really can live without.

Vain`s Stripped Down is great because it really cleans all the gunk out of your hair. It`s about $8 a bottle, but it smells delicious and is substantially less expensive than some other brands that perform the same function.

More than anything, I love Sebastian`s Potion 9. I would kill for a lifetime supply of that stuff. KILL. Okay, so I`m kidding, but not too far off on its effectiveness. It detangles, it gives your hair a beautiful shine, softens and does heavy-duty moisturizing!

My hair is curly and I absolutely love it.

I air dry, except for when it`s being styled straight, and even then, I still prefer air drying in front of a fan. The coolness of the fan makes it dry faster and seals in moisture unlike the heat from a blowdryer.

If my hair would react less strongly to gel [it makes my hair curl very tightly and poofs out a lot], I`d put it halfway up more often, but ponytail is what I deal with primarily.

Yes it does, I`m unique and yet low-maintenance.

Yes I do, indeed. Conditioner is my hair`s best friend.
