how do i spike my hair?

How do I spike my hair? I put water wax in it and just messed it up, it kinda spikes anyway because it`s so short but does anyone have any advice to make it look good? Thanks.

if your hair is over about 5-6 inches or under 1 inch then you cant really spike it, but the first thing is buy some good wax. i use brylcream "strong wax"
ok now how to do it,
dont have wet hair because the waz will not work also dont have wet fingeres, simply take a piece of wax about the same size as ur wee finger nail and appl;ie it to the area u want the spike, dont just mess it into your hair, grab a load then twist it adding more wax if necessary - this hair style is hard to do at first and can take hours depending on how many you want, i have my whole head covered in spikes including my beard and this takes me about 30 mins, and i have had this style for the past 2 yrs. its very tricky when it comes to the back of your head as u need to use ur feeling senses and not your eyes.
good luck with this style i kno alot of people who get annoyed and give up as its tricky and costly( the wax)
