In answer to your question, I think the chunky things I`ve seen were done by twisting the hair into sections and cutting it while it is twisted and then they use some kind of hair wax on it to make it look "chunkier"

I assume this is the kind of chunky you mean.

do u realize the world does not revolve around and maybe the reason ppl don`t reply to u is because they don`t know the answer or someone who does just hasn`t read your post yet?? ever thought of that?

I`m not 100% sure about what you`re talking about... but check out www.johnfrieda.com and then go 2 s-o-s for hair in distress and then go 2 new breed of blond... you`ll see two girls on the screen... I think the girl on the left has that chunky look... sry if I`m wrong.
