I made an appoitment tommorow for highlights,and im scared! Last time I got highlights i hated them. My hair right now is like a golden dark blond color. The roots are about 4 inches down. (med brown.) Ive been coloring it this color for about 8 months now. Just because im sick of the upkeep I thought highlighting will look more natural growing out. But now Im looking in the mirror and liking the color it is now! I brought in a picture of Jen Aniston from about 4 months ago(Closest I could find to what I wanted. He told me Id have to dye it back to my natural color then add the highlights. Coudnt he just weave in dark underneath with lowlights? Will it be a big deal if I get there and chicken out and go with the same old? I think highlights take longer. Also is it wierd to get highlights right before winter? Could someone give me some reasurence please!!!Oh ya is it impossible to go back to this haircolor if I hate it? Lots of damage probly. Thanks
I don`t think I get why you are getting highlights. You said you are sick of the upkeep. If he said you have to first go back to your natural color anyway before putting in the highlights then why not just stay with your natural color. If you want highlights again you can always do that later. Good luck!
