I am new to this place and since we are all talking about hair, I was just wondering how to make hair grow faster because I want my hair to the middle of my back and it just seems like it's taking forever to get there!! If you know or have a response, let me know!

There isn't really any way that you can make your hair grow faster, however there are several things that you can do to ensure that the ends of your hair stay healthy to prevent from having to cut them off and then starting all over again. One of the best things to do when you're growing your hair out long is to make sure that you trim your hair yourself or go for a trim every couple of months. Be careful where you get your hair cut though because you don't want to walk out of a salon with 5 inches chopped off. I'm growing my hair out also but I usually trim it myself because I've had too many bad experiances with hair chopping. The average rate of hair growth is about half an inch per month, yet everyone's different so if you think your hair is really not growing it might just grow a little more slowly. Also a healthy diet is always important. Be sure to take a multivitamin. About those hair supplements, I'm not really sure if they do anything or not. If you're interested in finding out how fast your hair is growing you might want to start measuring it on a monthly basis.
Hope this helps!

I had a disaster cut febuary last year. it was chin length, and after more than a year, ive finally got it back to shoulder length!
you can't accelerate natural hair growth, just make it healthier, which is always a bonus.
just accept ur hair and before u know it, it'll be longer. measuring every month just gets you obcessed!!!!

There is this product called Spit-ender. It will cut any spit ends in your hair without chopping off your hair. So you can effortlessly trim not cut your ends without distroying them in the process. Also wash your hair every two weeks. I know when hair gets really oily the pores get clogged making it hard for them to breathe and grow. YOu also have to use lighter conditioner. Nothing to weigh down your hair, but something to give it mositure. I recommend any Motion products or Pantene. Also remember to drink lots of water also, and take a daily vitamin, hair can't grow from a unhealthy body. Oh, and always remeber to stay away from ponytales and any kind of band whenever possible. This can cause the hair to break off, BAD. I remember I had to get all my hair cut off A LOT, becuase I had wore ponytales so long it was taking out my hair without me knowing it. Now my hair has grown a lot in the past months becuase I have been taking my own advice from my experiences and knowlegeg from others.

Please take my advice. Any other questions just E-Mail me.

-wash your hair every day or every other day so it's clean enough for your roots to grow
-massaging you scalp makes it grow faster for me
-trim it every 6-8 weeks. I find that every time I trim it, it grows about two inches pretty quickly
-eat vitamins
-eat healthy foods with vitamin B6 and fatty acids
-Jell-O makes hair grow because of the gelitin
I love you~!!!!!!!!

It depends on your nationality how long and quickly your hair will grow and get because im black and i was my hair every 2 weeks like ma in the post obove mine said and my hair is shoulder length because i got a perm. But i dont stress the length of it because i mean 2 me long hair aint really a big deal 4 me and i really dont care 4 it thats why im getting it cut like T-Boz had hers back in '94 4 the CrazySexyCool album 4 the spring or maybe even sooner than that hopefully.

in short go to this website, if ya black (n i guess ne otha race): http://www.growafrohairlong.com - n be CONSISTENT in wat it tells u - it makes sense. Also, stay away from damaging ingredients in your shampoo - Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, "Laureth ", Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, and " Laureth " ... try the 'Conditioner Wash' method found at http://motowngirl.com and clarify once at the end of every month.

Eat right (high in protein [chicken, fish, beef, and i find soy milk isn't as bad as peeps say wit a lil suga], B-Vitamins [supplement is probably best], lots of water, and BIOTIN. Treat ya hair like fine old lace.. gently... and E-MAIL ME 4 MORE INFO: chocolate_lip_gloss@hotmail.com

Hey, You have probably heard this a 100 x's but, aI have been told, eat foods that are high in protien and fiber, exercise for 20 min a day, and take your vitamins and fallow all the expert advice u have already got on here!!!! But trust me It really works esspecially the exercise!!! Oh and I know they told u to measure your hair, but only do it ever 1-2 months, or you'll be expecting to much and get discouraged!!!! I am sure in 1/2 a year you'll have long beautyful hair!!!

My hair was down to my ribs and I cut it off to my chin and IT LOOKED AWFUL! but then I took 2 M/V's a day (1 in the morning 1 @ night) and it growed really fast also my skin was heather Also lots of bad foods (Suger Starch EX.) can make your Hair not be as healthy and you will have to cut it and start all over again!

ok well bye bye
