I'm half korean and half american, but most people say I don't look asian. My hair used to be dark brown, but I got highlights and it made my hair look "sunkissed".. and a lighter brown, which I loved. My parents make me pay for EVERYTHING usually, and I didn't have enough money to get my hair rehighlighted (which here costs around 40-50 bucks). So I got regular hair dye at Walmart, I think it was called Loreal, the kind with the natuarl highlights in it. It was supposed to be a medium golden brown. I was scared while doing it because I thought it might make my hair TOO light... but when I was done it was darker! And had a red tint to it! The next day everyone asked if I died my hair brown/red.. I hate it and it makes me look more asian (which i dont really like). And also makes me look paler. I want to redye it again, but I don't want the same thing to happen again, and I don't want to get a really light color and this time really risk it turning that light. What should I do??
