I've had short spikes before but now I'm leaving my hair longer. So far it's 2-3 inches, but it gets too much volume and frizz which I cannot get rid of no matter what the weather is like. Any tips on longer hair?

dont no if this helps but i used to have short spikes, but then i decided to grow my hair, let it grow and keep cutting the bottom of the back otherwise it grows to far down ur neck, doin this lets the rest of your hair catch up, because the back grows faster than the top, the hair around your ears dont cut, let that catch up, i only no this cuz my hairdresser told me the other day, hope it helps, i usually use mousse, so the hair can b styled but isnt like twigs on your head, and use a hairdryer, its wot i do
check this out man...if you want to grow out your hair... dont cut any parts of your hair until you see it needs a trim (to catch up with the rest of the hair). Its good to keep your hair the same length or else you will look kidn of weired. I kind of know about that because i let my hair grow for a good year and now its about 5-6 in long and maybe more thats a guess...but yeah man, be creative with it and dont keep the same style, try something new every week or maybe every other day.
