I'm a 18 y old girl, with dark brown hair.
I have long hair but I'm planning to cut 'em real short. As my hair goes nearly 2 inches below ear level, i 'll probably get my neck shaved, and I hesitate between having my whole nape layered with the neck cropped very short or getting the nape straight and shaved all the way below. Both look great but what do ya think ?

IMHO, you shouldn't shave it.

I think its sexier if it's short, but still a bit soft.

Usually tapered napes look better. Shaved napes can give that "pudding basin haircut" look, which is unflattering on just about everyone.

personally I like a clippered nape that gets gradually longer towards the top so in other words a clipperd wedge

Hi my name is Margo too except it's spelt MARGAUX but anyway I don't think you should completly shave the nape.It just won't look right. Just get it tappered short because I was planning on getting the same thing done when I get my hair cut into an angled bob,so I suggest you just get it tappered instead of completly shaved.
