My hair is about 24 inches long now and relatively healthy. It's shiny and thick... only problem is split ends!!! Does anyone have any good remedies to stop them before they start?

Jennifer....I have learned that the only solution for split ends is to trim them on a regular basis. You can prevent them by being very careful not to over brush your hair, use good products and avoid hair dryers, hot curlers and anything that can rip or tear the hear.I use a tiny, professional quality scissors and carefully trim any split ends that I find while I am hanging out watching TV.Also...I use a very good conditioner on my hair on the ends only after each shampoo. This seems to strengthen the ends a lot.Good luckCathy

Cathy... Thanks for the response. I'm interested in the kind of conditioner you use. I've been using the George Michael system for about two months now.My big sin is blow drying. I'm usually in such a hurry that I use a diffuser on my blow dryer in the morning. Guess I'll have to make a commitment to my hair and stop. It's my last bad habit!!

>> Lisa... I'm really loving the George Michael System... my hair has never been so shiny and healthy. The only thing is, the products are very plain looking and don't have a particularly nice smell. But, in my experience, they really work. I go to the Enchantress Salon where I live in Ohio and I know they ship mail order GM products. They have a website: www.enchantress.com
