hi, I have permed hair that's kind of falling out, I mean the perm not my hair. I like to wear my hair down but find it straight at the top, sometimes frizzy or just ratty looking by the end of the day. Please help! Oh and I do like my hair curly.

Oh and I do like> my hair curly.Hi Ame, I would like to recommend that you set your hair in rollers to make it look good for the entire day. YOu could use hot rollers but setting it wet gives the best results although it takes longer. Let me know if you need more info and tell me if I'm right :)
Hi,I think Rick is right about the wet curl over hot rollers. I have very frizzy curly hair although not permed. I get very soft waves if I coil it on top of my head or at the back of my neck. If I want a very curly look, I'll roll it in rag curls. Your permed hair is more susceptible to additional damage by hot appliances. For both of these, wash your hair, condition the ends, leave in conditioner on the ends also. Let your hair air-dry till damp.Soft waves -- bend over upside down and gather your hair. Twist it (Not too roughly or tightly) and coil it on top of your head. Secure it by wrapping it in a cotton head band or scrunchie (not a twisty-rubberband-thing)Curly - Section hair (4 or 5 sections) and roll the hair around the middle of a (clean) cotton sock. Tie the ends of the sock to secure. Or put the ends of the hair into the tube of the sock, twist the hair until it coils up on itself. Then when it's coiled up all the way, pull the end of the sock part of the way through the coil to secure. Then go to bed! That's the nice part. These are two ways that I have ready-to-go hair in the morning. Play with it a little bit so that you don't have creases -- the sock trick is best if you hold your hair straight out from the head (rather than straight down and rolling up.) So that gravity doesn't help create the creases. Otherwise just a little touching up in the morning will do.Be careful with your permed hair, it's more delicate that virgin hair.Da Augs
