Hairstylist On Phone

OK. It happened again today and I did not know what to do. My hairstylist kept getting personal phone calls and would leave me sitting in the chair for several minutes while he chatted and laughed with the callers. I was furious but did not know what to do.The first call came while I was soaking wet with shampoo in my hair. He took the call and said he would be right back. It seemed like a long time to me. I was annoyed and he apologized. Then he was in the middle of trimming my bangs when he got another call. I sat there with half of my bangs trimmed. The third call came while I was upside down being dried.By then I was furious. I could not really leave at any point because I was at the shampoo station, my bangs were half trimmed and I was half dry.I left without tipping him, which I normally do, and I did not make my normal next appointment, which I also do. I have been going to this guy for about 1 year and am happy with his work, but this is not the first time he took calls while working on my hair. In the past he has never taken so many calls. Usually just 1.Should I have said something after the first call? Should I have complained to the owner of the shop? Should I send him a note about how angry I was?Help. Suggestions please.Very disgusted.Jean
