I agree the Leave-In spray conditioner is really good, detangles well. The Infusium shampoos are drying because they contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. I find that shampoos that contain this strip the color from my hair.

You can buy the product at any drug store. I have tried the Shampoos and thought that they were quite harsh and stripped the natural oils from my hair. The Leave-In Conditioner is great for tangles. You do not need a lot, either. Why someone said the product smelled like beer is beyond me. I don't think so. Maybe, she got a bad batch. Price ranges between $5 and $8.

I use Infusium. I use there Shampoo and Conditoner and there leave-in conditioner. I've been using their products for the past 3months. My hair works very well w/Infusium. I've tried Aveda for 3months also and my hair actually got dried out from there products, and I spent a hell of a lot of money on there products. My hair is shiny, and I always get compliments on the scent of my hair too(any my hair itself). So, I guess it all depends on what products work for whose hair. Those who never tried Infusium don't be discouraged by the posts. It's done wonders for me.Christina
Hello Val!Thanks for sharing your findings with us! You have helped out many curious people I'm sure (including me!) As for the animal testing, I am an avid animal activist. Any qusestion you have about animal testing, please feel free to ask!Happy Belated Canada Day! (I am Canadian!)Happy Independence Day (To all my American Friends)Robin-Ann
Hello!Yes, I have used the Infusium line in the past. A freelance hairdresser had recommended it to me highly. Their shampoo for imparting body to the hair did give my fine hair a bit of a lift, but left it pretty dry.The conditioner that went with the shampoo didn't seem to do much for my hair at all. When I rinsed it out, it left no conditioning/moisturizing effects although it did help get the tangles out.As for the leave in spray, it was okay but not great. Aveda makes a much better leave in.The hair spray was the worst though. I sustained a lot of hair damage from it. It was far too stiff and sticky, and extremely drying. If you had any residue of it in your hair when you used a curling iron, it would turn that section of hair into a crispy hard lock, difficult to comb through and causing a good amount of damage. I was very unhappy with this product.I am currently a big Aveda fan. I've just started using their Madder Root shampoo and conditioner and absolutely love it! The color it imparts is very pretty and deep on dark hair. Their Witch Hazel hairspray is gentle and I use their Elixer leave in after my shower to impart moisture and eliminate those tangles.I never knew that Infusium tested on animals. I am very unhappy to learn that. Thank you for letting us know, Robin-Ann.Have a great Independence Day weekend everyone!Valentine :o)
Ally,Cheap? Yes, in the sense that it dosen't work! Here (Canada) it can go for $8 a bottle! The leave-in treatment did make my hair sticky and dry. Thanks for your thoughts.Robin-Ann
Hello!Has anyone had the same bad results that I have with the product Infusium?I also thought I would pass along the information that Infusium is made by Clairol which is a unit if Bristol-Myers Squibb. I didn't know at the time, but THEY DO test on animlas.Robin-Ann
