I have naturally blonde hair that was bleached last summer. Now that I'm just dying it (medium ash blonde) I can't lighten the roots past that annoying red stage. Would using golden blonde haircolor work better?

I had a similar problem about 1 year ago and the only way I could get it fixed was to go to a hair color expert. He told me that red is one of the strongest colors and that is why my hair was picking up the brassy red/orange at the roots. He fixed it with a special bleach application to the roots.I think to prevent further problems you should consider going to a specialist.Just my opinion though.Sara Jane> I have naturally blonde hair that was bleached> last summer.
