First of all I must say that this is the best hairpage Iīve ever seen. Keep up the good work! I have rather long hair and Iīm trying to get it even longer. Well, everybody with long hair knows that itīs important to take good care of it. My problem is my hairdresser. She is very rough on my hair and I dont like her careless ways. She has short hair and I guess she donīt realize that long hair is extra sensitive. Then she was out of town and I really needed a haircut, so I went to another salon. Oh, what a difference, they were so gentle with my hair and wish to continue going there. But the problem is that she is my neighbour and I would feel guilty if I went to the other salon. And I would be so ashamed if she for instance saw me walking out of it. I would never be able to look her in the eyes after that. So should I continue getting my hair done by her? But isnīt it my money and my hair? Should I feel any guilt if I countinued going to the other salon?Iīm sorry for any spelling or grammar mistake, but english isnīt my mother tounge.

Hi Maria,Welcome to Hair Talk. Thanks for sharing your experiences and your nice compliments about the site. We try. :-)We had a thread here about 2 weeks ago about how to divorce your hair dresser. One woman suggested sending a note telling her hairdresser that she appreciated all her work but felt it was time to try other things. It is your hair and your money. You should do what is best for you.Hope that helped. Thanks for your post.Karen> First of all I must say that this is the> best hairpage Iīve ever seen. Keep up the good> work!
