THE IRON

Can you use a clothes iron to flatten hair? I don't want to have to go to a beauty parlor to iron out my hair. And I am on a low budget so its hard to afford straightening products.

Not to mention the burns you can get on your face, neck and hands doing it yourself. My daughter did this for awhile..it works but she burned herself a few times. It will dry out your hair... if you do it, put a towel over it first and get someone else to do the ironing!! I think getting a straightening iron like Joan said would be worth it. Tho, I have never seen one used before or it's ability to straighten. If you make this a habit, I would start some good conditioning treatments!
