Hi Elana,Yes...alcohol is not that good for your hair, but it depends on the proportion that is added in the product. Some products have a small amount. I have used both the Confixer and the Witch Hazel Hairspray and I have not had anything but good results.You have to take in consideration your hair and the condition it is in. Some people can not tolerate any alcohol at all and some people can not tolerate even a small amount of silicone while some people can use Pantene (which has lots of silicone) for years and have no problems.I would say that you should try it and see what happens.I personally prefer the Aveda Styling Curessence because it gives me shine and softness. I like the Confixer but it makes my hair firmer and I prefer my hair very soft. I love both products and use them all the time. I will use the Confixer when I am going out and want to add body to my hair and make it look fuller.Hope that helps.Karen> Hi! 1.)
