HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been coloring my hair dark red for about a year. I decided to go blonde so I used something called Effasol(?). I left it on 15 more than instructed and when I rinsed it out my hair was bright orange!!! I look like Bozo's wife!! I was told to buy a haircolor to put on after this process, which I did. My question is will this take the orange out (it was a light blonde color that I bought) and will all this processing make my har fall out?!? My hair was just recently cut short (about 2 inches all over) and is in good shape (so far). Any suggestions would be appreciated as I have to go to work tomorrow and I don't work at the circus (although with this hair, I may have to change jobs!) Thanks all! Sincerely, Tammy
