You wrote an earlier post to me about alcohol in styling products and hair spray. So my question is:: What kinds of styling spritzes and hair sprays (products and brand names) do you recommend that are good for hair. (or that you use)? THanks.

Hi Elana,I play with my hair all the time. :-)However, this is what I use to style my hair:I alternate between Aveda's Styling Curessence, Bain de Terre's Herbal Conditioning Seal and ARTec's Kiwi Bodifying Detangler. I find that the Styling Curessence makes my hair very soft and less wavy (I have naturally thick bushy hair with lots of natural waves). The Bain de Terre gives my hair incredible shine (it has a small amount of cones) and the ARTec makes my hair bushy and it enhances the waves.I really do alternate all the time and it depends on my mood. I have found that the Styling Curessence really works great in conjunction with Artec Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner and that the Artec Kiwi works really great with the Aveda Chamomile Shampoo and Deep Conditioner. The Bain de Terre works well with all of the products. For styling I use either Aveda Confixer which I LOVE or KMS Gelato Creme Gel or ARTec Texturegel. I don't use any of these products often because I almost never blow dry my hair. I find these products work best with a little blow drying. The Aveda Confixer and the KMS Gelato are almost identical in the results of holding my hair and giving it shine and body, but the Gelato is much thicker going on.I am not as thrilled with the Artec Texture because it tends to make my hair almost too bushy. I like it every once in awhile. You have to understand that at any one time I may have as many as 50 different hair care products in my bathroom. :-)Thanks for asking. Hope this helps.I would love to hear what you are currently using. Please share your current products for detangling and setting.Have a great weekend.Karen> You wrote an earlier post to me about alcohol> in styling products and hair spray. Hi Karen.. currently I use: 1) Redken Amino Po extra gentle shampoo 2) Aveda Curressence 3) Aveda Elixir 4) Aveda ConfixerThis is currently my routine. But what can I use as a good hair spray? I'm afraid to put anything "bad" on my hair.> Hi Elana,> I play with my hair all the time. :-)> However, this is what I use to style my hair:>> I alternate between Aveda's Styling Curessence,> Bain de Terre's Herbal Conditioning Seal and ARTec's> Kiwi Bodifying Detangler.
