I agree with the responses from Jade and RunningWild. Personally, I like suggestions from my boyfriend, if put the right way.> My girlfriend has long gorgeous hair and> she is pretty good at doing a variety of styles> with it. Personally I like the fact that she does> different things with it and look forward to those> times. For the past several months she always> wears it down and straight (which looks great)> but I long for the variety. She will sometimes> wear it other ways if I ask nicely. My question> is for the ladies? Do you like it if your boyfriend/hubby> asks you to wear your hair in different styles> (not cutting or anything like that)or do you feel> like you are being pressured to do something that> you would really rather not do. She doesn't act> like it bothers her, yet she never asks me if> I have a preference on how she wears her hair> that night, and when I do ask the odds are 50/50> at best that she will do it.

Ask her. If you don't have a relationship where you can just ask, then I have no suggestions besides just appreciating changes when they happen. Be diplomatic. Dont' say: "Honey, I get bored looking at your hair in a braid all the time, why not try ..." Jade is right, be complimentary, but don't be phony. Just ask.> My girlfriend has long gorgeous hair and> she is pretty good at doing a variety of styles> with it. I have always appreciated men who have complimented me on a hair style or any change after I have made the change. It should definitely be your girlfriend's choice. There is nothing wrong with telling her that you like her to vary her hair styles, but do not over do it. She probably knows that you appreciate her hair, just as you should appreciate her.You should also realize that some women can get into a rut with the way they wear their hair. This may be simply from a convenient, ease of style perspective or just plain habit. I can say myself that I tend to wear my hair styles according to the seasons and special occasions. But, I am always pleased to hear suggestions and comments. One last note: Do not become obsessed with your girlfriend's hair:) Comments like "I would just die if you cut your hair or you just can't do that" should be eliminated from your vocabulary. My friend's boyfriend did this repeatedly. After a year of the beef, she chopped her hair off to her ears. She told me she did it because she was sick of hearing comments like I mentioned and came to believe that he just loved her for her hair. In the end, she was really sorry that she had done it and he could hardly believe that she truly felt that way. Anyway, the haircut brought some heavy discussion and her hair grew back:) They are happily together today, but don't get to that point. All the Best, Jade

My girlfriend has long gorgeous hair and she is pretty good at doing a variety of styles with it. Personally I like the fact that she does different things with it and look forward to those times. For the past several months she always wears it down and straight (which looks great) but I long for the variety. She will sometimes wear it other ways if I ask nicely. My question is for the ladies? Do you like it if your boyfriend/hubby asks you to wear your hair in different styles (not cutting or anything like that)or do you feel like you are being pressured to do something that you would really rather not do. She doesn't act like it bothers her, yet she never asks me if I have a preference on how she wears her hair that night, and when I do ask the odds are 50/50 at best that she will do it.
