Hi,I am back at the testing sink again. :-)Today I tried Rusk Look which is billed as a Gentle Cleanse for Normal Hair. 8 ounces cost me $5.00 at a major sale. I also used the Rusk Ultra-Rich conditioner which cost me $10.00 for 5 ounces. The shampoo has the following ingredients: Water, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Lauramide DEA, Glycol Distearate, Hair Keratin Amino Acids, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Silk, Honey, Polyquaternium-10, Cocamide MEA, Ammonium Chloride, Benzophenone-4, Fragrance, Citric Acid, Laneth-16, Ceteth-16, Oleth-16, Steareth-16, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone. The Rusk Ultra-Rich Conditioner contains the following ingredients: Water, Quaterium-18, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Stearalkonium Chloride, Hair Keratin, Amino Acids, Lecithin, Panthenol, Dimethicone Copolyol, Hydrolyzed Silk, Honey, Aloe Vera Gel, PEG-5 Soya Sterol, Stearamine Oxide, Glyceryl Stearate, Oleth-3, Sodium Lauriminopropionic Acid, PEG-100 Stearate, Isopropyl Alcohol, DMDM Hydantoin, Methylparaben, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance. After one shampoo and conditioning my hair feels dry. Not as dry and knotted as with some other products, but definitely not as silky as it normally feels with ARTec and Aveda.I will give it a chance for 3 days. My hair did not seem to have the shine and lustre that it normally has and I had to pick some knots out of my hair that I normally don't have.I will keep you all informed. I was a little concerned at the ingredients, especially the "cone" in the conditioner. I want to be fair and give it a shot. So I will use it again tomorrow and Wednesday before I make any decisions about whether to keep using it or not.I would love to have any feedback from anyone who has used these Rusk products and how you liked it.The aroma is nice and they don't test on animals. The conditioner is a creamy white but not as thick as Aveda's Cherry Almond Bark or ARTec.Karen

Hi Karen, Today was double punch Tuesday at Trade Secrets so I went bananas and bought a ton of stuff to include a Rusk shampoo and conditioner. I tried both by sample packet and loved them, so now I am going to have a go at the full sizes. The shampoo is called "Smoother" and the conditioner is called "Calm." The shampoo is supposed to de-frizz and moisturize, and it also has some ingredients to remove mineral deposits and styling products. They both smell yummy. I also bought a large size of KMS NEFA shampoo for chemically treated hair, to alternate, and a bottle of Sebastian laminates conditioner, and a tube of Sebastian potion-9. I bought the Potion-9 because I am hoping that I'll like it as well as my Phyto 9 leave-in cream. There is a BIG difference in price, Sebastian about $7 or $9 and the Phyto at $18! We'll see. I am also going to post a review of 4 different Sebastian conditioners to Hair Talk one of these days. I tried Laminates, Sheen, Slipline and Moisture Base. You can tell which one I liked best. Wow. This is getting long. I'll let you know how the Rusk turns out.
