> I was wondreing if anyone knows hows to French> braid, and if they do give me DETAILS and directions> how to do this. Thanks, a bunch! L.KHi L.K. It is quite difficult to give you a good answer because there are so many types of French braids, There are 2, 3, 4, & 5 strand braids (any more than that, you get into weaves). There are inverted and projected braids. Some are done adding hair only from one side. Braids can be started from just about anywhere on the head and go in a straight or circular line. All the hair can go into one braid or tiny ones (Bo braids or cornrows) can be made forming patterns. Every one of these have many variations that can be done. All it takes is some instruction and some practice to get some very nice results. It is preferable, but not essential, for the hair to be all one length as layers will make little ends stick out of the braid where the layer stops. The best answer is to look at Karen's reviews of the braiding books in The Hair Boutique book shelf to see if any are interesting to you. You might also check out book stores in your area to look at the books. The most helpful ones have diagrams as well as good photos of the finished style. Are you braiding your hair or someone elses? If you refine your question, someone can give you a more specific answer. Best wishes. Neil
