I think I've posted about this on here before, but for a while I've been looking for a good all natural shampoo. I've had really bad luck with silicons on my hair and I'd like to try to get away from all the synthetic detergents. I tried Aubrey Organics and HATED it, even though I like their conditioners and the concept behind their products it left my hair like straw. YUCK! Anyways, a couple months ago I found a castille soap based shampoo (like the AO shampoos) that really worked well for me. It felt a little weird when wet, but when my hair dried it felt like silk. I posted something about it, but I doubted any of you could find it 'cuz the company is pretty obscure and I was having trouble finding it near me. Well silly me... I finally did a web search on the company and found them... they have online ordering and everything. http://www.BotanicsCalifornia.com/So if Karen or anyone else is interested in trying it, check it out. It's worked better for me if I alternate a week of their shampoo with a week of Aveda. I'm going to order their conditioner as well this time and see what kind of results I get from using them together (I ususally use Aveda, NG or AO condtioner). If you're into more natural products I'd DEFINATELY suggest it over AO.-jj(sorry I don't visit here as much anymore... the traffic is a bit overwhelming these days...)
