hairpiece styling

Ok, thanks to Karen & Laura Jane for the support! I feel more secure in my choice to wear my hairpiece for my wedding. I have one more question, though!How do I curl it? It's synthetic hair, and I was told I could curl it with a curling iron at low heat. (I don't have hot rollers) I imagine low heat would be below the point that a damp finger pressed to the curling iron would go " Ssssss" , if so, how long does it take to curl the "hair"?Or do I actually want the iron hot enough to sizzle?It'd be a shame to melt it after I've finally decided to wear it!Thanks again!
