something is very wrong with my hair.. i think it's because I've been blow drying my hair frequently without using any protection(coz I dont know what heat protectionproduct to use). So, now my hair is frizzy...very dry.. and the worst part is.. it's splitting ( i think coz I dont really know what it is) ... but not at the ends ... so, I dont really know what to do... If it's just split ends then I dont mind cutting my hair... but the problem is it's not at the end..what should I do?

Hi Emilia! For years I have been blowing my loose curls straight! In that time, I believe that I tried every heat protectant out there--here's what I learned! No matter what kind of product you use--from Pantene to Aveda-- NO product is going to stand up to the HOT heat of a sizzling blowdryer day after day. Although I have learned to love my curls in their natural state (texture is IN), when I do blowdry now, I use a regular conditioner (ARTec Smoothing) and leave it in. I understand about that dry feeling all the way up the hair shaft--when I blowdry mine still feels like that. You can give ARTec's Moisture Pac a shot--it worked great for me! However, my best advice is to give up the blower (if you can)--cause I can gaurantee that even if you trim your hair-- the problem will not go away! Good Luck!Sherry

After a good trim, and even my first use of the potion, my hair felt great. My hair was severely damaged and I mean severely. It also was frizzy, extremely dry and looked like ____! I have curly medium to coarse textured hair. The directions are pretty clear, use only on dry hair. I use before my shampoo and I recommend that if you have the time, that after lightly saturating your hair with it, try to leave it on for 2 or more hours. And use a cap, the product seems to work best when your body's natural heat is left to penetrate. Also from experience and the recommendation of this site I have discovered Artec Texturline Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner and they work pretty well, but the one product that I am very ecstatic about is their Smoothing Serum. Yeah for this product and so far so great! It not only allows for a nice result if I choose to blow my hair straight, but also very nicely defines my curls when I allow my hair to dry naturally. After you pump the serum onto your palm, you can even see a glitter-like sparkle to the product which obviously adds shine as well. I hope these help. And one more piece of advice, buy these products from a reputable salon in your area, that way if you are displeased you can always return them. Good Luck!

>HI,I love Osmose's Intra Force shampoo for weakened hair& Intra Force Strengthener, these products are for fragile hair & claim to strengthen hair if used by the 10 consecutive wash & Intra Force (liquid) strengthener, your hair will be twice as strong then you use the Intra Force shampoo & Osmose Cuti Repair conditioner, this did wonders for me & saved a lot of cash!!, check it out. As for split ends sorry but the only way to lose them is to get a trim, as no product as yet developed can totally seal them, hope this has been of a little help.(Try to get the twin pack with both products it costs $20.00AU or wholesale $13.30 AU if you are a hairdresser or have a hairdresser friend)Bye for now,Simone.(C).something is very wrong with my hair.. i think it's> because I've been blow drying my hair frequently> without using any protection(coz I dont know what heat> protectionproduct to use).
