After reading so many good things on this board about Natures Gate products, I went out to Target and bought the Herbal and Chammomile Conditioners and fell in love! I can't believe they're so inexpensive (about $3-4 per bottle) because both leave my hair really soft and tangle free. Plus, they don't have any icky ingredients that will harm long hair.(I haven't used the shampoos yet because I've got lots of other brands at home still to be used up!)Anyway, another Hair Boutique regular suggested I try the Jojoba and Aloe Conditioners, too. But my Target didn't carry them. Fortunately, today at lunch I happened by my local health food store, and, voila! The whole line of Natures Gate products! I'm so happy. . . can't wait to try them all.

Hi Jen,I have only had any real luck with the Chamomile and ironically not together. I can use the Chamomile shampoo with ARTec Smoothing conditioner with really great results and the ARTec Smoothing shampoo with the Chamomile conditioner. Very strange but I like the results and so why not? Anyway..it does average down the prices since the Nature's Gate is so inexpensive. I use NG about 1x a week in one of the combos I mentioned. I liked the way the Herbal smelled but it just didn't do anything for my hair so I had to give up on it. I do love the Chamomile though and my health food store carries the entire line so I might try a few more of the variations. It is always so much fun to find new products like that that offer an alternative. :-)Thanks for the tip on where to buy these.Best wishes,Karen> After reading so many good things on this board about> Natures Gate products, I went out to Target and bought> the Herbal and Chammomile Conditioners and fell in> love! Thanks for your thoughts, Karen! I've been using the Herbal and Chammomile conditioners after Phytojoba shampoo these days. I've also used them with ARTec Smoothing Shampoo, which works wonders, too. This morning, I used Phytojoba shampoo, then the NG Jojoba conditioner. My hair felt incredibly silky. I think this product line is a real winner!Sincerely,Jen
Hi.. I am another fan of NG. It's really the only product I use now. I have even gotten away from using Artec. I have given most of it to my stepmom who loves the line. My hair is in wonderful shape... and believe it or not it has grown one inch in 2 weeks. When my hair gets to bra strap length it flies down to my waist. Right now keeping my ends in super shape is important to me so I won't have to trim. The Jojoba of NG has really worked well in keeping my ends moisturized. Yesterday was my 40th birthday and my family gave me a surprise birthday party.. I didn't think to put all my bottles of NG away ..I keep about 12 bottles by the shower in a basket. No one made a wise crack about my binge buying ....they were too busy with the other kinds of wise cracks about the 40 thing.. take care... Cher, happy belated birthday!!!I just wanted to let you know that after reading your post I went to Whole Foods and bought the NG Jojoba conditioner. I am VERY impressed with the results! I used it as a leave-in conditioner last night on my ends, and just washed with it this morning. . .wow! I love it! My hair isn't dry, but it isn't saturated either -- it's a nice, happy medium. The smell is also heavenly! Thanks for the recommendation!

Hi Jen,Yes I agree. A lot of people just don't have the budgets for the higher priced products like Phyto & Aveda but the NG, used in conjunction can offer a great "stretcher". I use it to stretch my ARTec and my Aveda and my Phyto. I wish it would work all the time on my hair but I have found I do need to mix and match. But hey..who cares if I can mix the ARTec smoothing with the Chamomile and get really great results?I do recommend NG for people on a budget or people who want to get the max for their money when using the other higher priced products.Best wishes,Karen> Thanks for your thoughts, Karen! To: Jen, Cher, Taylor and Karen and everyoneI read on this board that Target carried NG products. I also read on this board that NG tea tree oil shampoo was great for my particular scalp condition.Imagine my joy when a) the brand turned out to be familiar to me; I'd bo't a hand cream years ago (still have 1/3 bottle remaining) from a health food store of NG brand, so I realised I was already familiar and b) the bottle was only $3!That was great! To boot, tea tree oil is not my favorite scent, and the shampoo is scented with peppermint oil. Durn tootin! I say!I've only had the stuff 2 days, so don't know if it's as effective as (Dawn?) has stated her husband found it to be.RunningWild
Hi! You've all got me psyched up to try this great (and cheap) stuff, but there are not target stores around and i haven't seen it in a healthfood store yet (although i'm continuing my quest). Has anybody seen it in other chains such as Sally or Walmart?
> I have never seen NG at any chain store except Target and was shocked to see it there. It seems tho that Target has their own little natural health section and also carries some brands like Jason which is another brand I have only seen in healthfood stores. Try larger healthfood stores or if you do not see NG in your local one, ask them to order it for you. I do not consider NG "cheap". It averages to be about 5 bucks a bottle so with the combo you pay about 10 dollars. To me Salon Selectives..Suave etc is cheap. NG is full of natural stuff.. I have checked out the ingredients thoroughly.. Plus with having 12 different varieties of a product line that is mostly produced to be a natural healthcare product.. you have alot of varieties to choose from and I never get bored with using it. NG may not be for everyone...but it has worked wonderfully for me and my hair. I have gone for almost 8 months with no trims and my hair is in wonderful shape..Good luck.. CherylHi!
