I haven't been around for a while because I've been in London! :-) But while I was there I found 2 neat new shampoos, they're from a company called Lush that makes lovely handmade soaps and cleansers and such. Unfortunately they don't have any stores in the US, just the UK and Canada. :-( Both shampoos are detergent based, but not really high sudsing.Grass Roots is their conditioning shampoo... and it really worked wonders on my hair. It had been being difficult ever since I got off the plane, and even though I brought Aveda stuff my hair continued to act up. Until I tried this... it smoothed out my hair and left it soft and shiny, even using the same conditioner. It's based on wheatgrass juice and avocado... and it kinda smells like it. Not exactly a lovely fragrace, but it did a good job with my hair. However, my favorite is the Ibiza Party shampoo... not guaranteed after 4am . Even though it has a sulfate detergent it doesn't foam up much at all... the first two ingredients are oatmilk and rose water, so I don't think it has a lot of foaming agents... it's the only detergent based shampoo I've used that doesn't feel like it strips my hair. It smells lovely, kinda rose-y and fruity at the same time. And it leaves my hair all soft and fluffy. I don't know why they don't market it as an everyday shampoo... it's certainly a favorite of mine.-jennifer jglad to be back

Glad to have you back. Thanks for the scoops on the shampoo. I hope we can figure out a way to get our hands on it here in the US. :-)Karen> I haven't been around for a while because I've been in> London! :-) But while I was there I found 2 neat new> shampoos, they're from a company called Lush that> makes lovely handmade soaps and cleansers and such.> Unfortunately they don't have any stores in the US,> just the UK and Canada. :-( Both shampoos are> detergent based, but not really high sudsing.> Grass Roots is their conditioning shampoo... and it> really worked wonders on my hair.
