It's a leave-in conditioner that helps mend split-ends.You just shampoo your hair and then apply the conditioner to your hair. You can also use it on dry hair. I don't know if it's really possible to mend split-ends, it's better to have them trimmed, but I like the way it makes my hair look and feel. Plus it smells really good. I bought mine at Family Dollar, I don't know if you have one of those where you live, but they might also carry it at Sally's Beauty Supply. GOOD LUCK!
