I have non processed hair, so I'm not sure if this will work for you, but I hope it helps.I work out around lunch time. I always braid my hair before exercising, either one straight down the back, or one on each side. After working out I take out the braids and massage a little bit of cornstartch on my scalp and then brush it out. I find it helps absorb the excess sweat. I usually also pass a damp washcloth over my head to remove any reamining whiteness. I then usually pull it back in a pony tail to return to work. I don't know if you need a more sophisticated look for your job.
Hi! I stumbled upon this page and thought I'd ask a question. I have relaxed medium-length, layered tresses and I am a young African American woman. My exercise routine, TAEBO, leaves my hair so sweaty, I need to find something to do with my hair to either keep it from looking so terrible after my workouts 'or' find an alternative hairstyle that is still professional for the advertising agency which I work in. I would love micro-braids but many have said this is not professional looking. HURRY- PLEASE HELP!!!If anyone has any suggestions, please email me at bree888@hotmail.com .Thanksbree
