I have medium length relaxed hair that is naturally dry, but is in pretty good shape. Even though I use a relaxer, I sometimes find the need to blowdry my hair, especially when I have noticable new growth. I'm looking for a product that can be used on african-american hair, while making the blowout process earier AND providing a decent amount of heat protection.

Hi there! The March 1999 issue of 'In Style' magazine recently listed it's 135 best beauty buys. This is what it had to say about ARTec Smoothing Serum as a heat protectant:"Elena George put a dime size amount on Vivica A. Fox's hair before using a flatiron. 'It make her hair really straight'. "I personallu yse the Smoothing Serum and I really enjoy it. Makes the brush glide easily through hair when blowdrying. You can find the Smoothing Serum at The World Wide Beauty Store!Sherry~The > I have medium length relaxed hair that is naturally> dry, but is in pretty good shape.
