HelloI've got hair about to my belly-button. And I'm looking for a shampoo and conditioner that isn't really expensive. My hair is REALLY thick, and somewhat naturally curly. I'm very athletically active, and have just moved. My scalp is getting very dry with my old shampoo. Any suggestions on shampoo, and tricks to do with hair would be very much appreciated.ThanksKat

Kat: I, too, have a cowlick in my bangs-area. Actually, I have three or four of them, inside a widow's peak. My trusted stylist compensates for this by cutting my bangs a little uneven (shorter on one side) to compensate for the "kick-up," which is what we call the cowlick condition. I use a large boar-bristle round brush and some straightening balm to dry my bangs.
