Anyone know where I can find a snood? I've been trying to find one of those crocheted things that fit on the hair roll when you have it tied in the back in a rolled-under ponytail. Sort of like those things they used to wear in the '40s. Hard to explain, but the new "Stila" ad in the magazines has a girl wearing one.
>Hi there. I have a crocheted snood that I got at a Renaissance Faire; it occurs to me you might also find them at some of the costuming sites online. There's one called "The Well-Dressed Wench" (sorry, I don't have the address) which has all sorts of links to historical costuming, encompassing clothing and accessories of all different periods. Hope that helps.---KimAnyone know where I can find a snood? I have a link to a place on the web which I will list below. the snoods are under accessories and then you have to scroll down a bit to get to them. I have one of the rayon ones which is very hair friendly. mine is sewn to a cloth covered headband which makes it stay on better :)These things are great.Shannon G.Related Link:Alter Years
