styling long wavy layers

Hey everyone! I need some tips on the right products to style my hair.It's medium thick, dirtyblond with golden highlites, and about four inches past my shoulders at the longest part in the back. Its layered around my face at the front, and layered gently all the way around (the shortest layers are just below chin length)I NEED to find a product that adds volume and keeps my layers perky all day with out being too crusty. My stylist always diffuses it into curls (not my everyday style!) So I need to know how to style it into lasting voluminous waves!!!! HELP!
