im trying to get some waves and i havent had them before i have hair but only like when ur hair is growing back when its blad not even close to a inch what should i put in my hair to start off to get some waves
Im not expert but heres a shot.. 1. Wash Hair 2. Dry hair but leave damp 3. Apply a moisturizer "Lusters Pink Oil' 'Lusters S- Curl wave activator and moustirzer 4. Brush moustirizer into hair for 5 min 5. Apply pomade preferably a thicker one for better hold 6. Warm damp towel to melt pomade 7. Brush pomade into hair for 40min - 1hr 8. Brush periodically through the day, durag/wavecap befor you sleep 9. Next morning wet hair in shower apply moisturizer 10. Brush throughout day
Yo just follow the steps above and keep brushing. When I first came on this forum, someone said that black people have nappy, curly hair. The reason you brush your hair is to straighten out the curls. But when the curls straighten or stretch out, they try to curl back up which makes the illusion of a wave...That's what I heard so I say just keep brushing and stretch out those curls
We'll since your hair is short I would suggest 360 style pomade. When your hair gets longet then i would suggest you use a heavy pomade......like dax, murrays,or sportin waves gold...etc
