Thank god you're not having the extensions we spoke of before!!!!, Sonia of The Hair Police is great as they use a stringing method with NO GLUE, if only they were not in Amsterdam I would have them put in, maybe they have opened other salons in the US, I wish they would get over here to Australia!!!!!!. Hi guys, I just got my extentions braided in. I tried to get them done like the ones described on the Hair Police website but the stylist did a different braiding technique called tree braiding. That is where your real hair is braided up and the fake hair is pulled through the braid. It looks neat and they did not use any glue or strings. The way the hair is braided up keeps the fake hair in place. So far it has not come loose at all and it is not done so tightly as to hurt my scalp. I got four rows braided in the back just for length. So far, I have been satisfied and have received compliments on the hair. It has blended very well with my real hair. I e-mailed Sonia at Hair Police and she will be in the ATLanta area in the summer. I will take this down in two months and then I shall try her method with the string.

thank you so much for your advice!!! ive actually decided not to get the extensions, because i dont want anything bad to happen to my real hair, which is already really long. also, extensions sound really expensive, and a pain in the ass as well. im a really active person, and i dont want to mess with untangling after a day at the beach or working out. ill just concentrate on growing my own hair!!! :)thanks so much, kara
