hi my friend is bald due to a chemical imbalance. My question is whether shaving her head all the time is making it worse or not. she shaves it because it grows in patchy. she wears a wig and i guess that is why she shaves it. Just wondering if she is doing more harm than good by doing so. any thoughts?

Shaving will not affect the hair one way or another. It cannot affect what is going on under the scalp. However wearing a wig can suffocate the hair further.
