I've been using Lamaur's straightening balm and Freeman's straightening lotion, both with mixed results. The straightening effects varied, but both left my hair feeling sticky or dry and damaged. I tried Citre Shine the last two times and blow dried my hair to straighten it out, and it left my hair relatively straight (the best I can do at home) and soft, without a hint of dryness or stickiness. I also used a little of Helene Curtis's KARA leave-in conditioner on the ends. Several people have mentioned Citre Shine Straightener on this board, including Sherri L....thanks for the tip!HTH

Hi there!I just noticed this post down here! I agree (and thanks for mentioing me)that the Citre Shine Straightneing balm is wonderful! I have tried KMS FLat Out and Phytodefrisent, but I still keep going back to the Citre Shine. I beleive it must be that Thermal Caore Protector (or something like that)-- anyway, it works! My hair always feels its best when I use it! Glad you enjoyed it :)Sherry~> I've been using Lamaur's straightening balm and> Freeman's straightening lotion, both with mixed> results.
