Hi,I am half Indian and half Indonesian and have just-under-shoulder-length, very curly and coarse, porous hair. It has been colour treated (not severely) and also chemically straightened once, but is *still* very thick, curly (almost afro) and knotty. It doesn't hang in nice locks or curls, but rather my hair just 'frizzes' everywhere. On rare occassions when I straighten it (with a blow dryer) it takes me about 50 minutes to do it with lots of serum and Fudge Cold Turkey. I just don't have the time.I am in Australia and also have a very narrow selection of hair products and salons which specialise in my type of 'afro' hair. Can anyone reccommend *anything* for me?A new hairstyle to wear my hair as it is?A product to make it more manageable?A product to make my hair straight?Any Australian contacts?Thankyou everybody!Leila.

Hey,It sounds as though your hair would readily loc up. Have you considered dreads? It's pretty hassle free and really an awesome style. Give it a try!> Hi,> I am half Indian and half Indonesian and have> just-under-shoulder-length, very curly and coarse,> porous hair.
