Okay I had to go to a wedding and needed a quick trim so I went to this place near my parents house....I thought I explained quite well that I just needed a trim....Instead she took the clippers and used the #4 blade on the top of my head and the #1 blade on the sides....I looks completely awful! I expressed my displease immediately, like as in the middle of the haircut! before she was able to mess it completely up I had her leave a bit of lenght in the front so I could spike it up a bit.....As a consumer what am I entitled to? I mean should I be able to go back to her and have her or one of her associates fix it as it grows out? Should I write a letter to the manager of the shop? Please advise me! I appreciate it!This new short lenght is a far stretch from what it was when I walked in, it used to be a very well groomed and styled head of hair. Now I cant even get it to slick forward because it is sooooooo short! Thanks!Mitch

Most places try the best they can to please the customer. Your most likely wont get your money back but they can at least compensate you. A free cut with a different stylist( Id insist on the manager or person in charge.) or maybe a coupon or something. Dont be afraid to ask or demand servious you desire better than that. After all you as a customer is where the check the stylist earns comes from in the first place.(If it werent for you she wouldnt have a job.)If they dont help you at least tell the manager about the stylist. Belive me the stylist will hear adout it and then the manager is also aware of there mistake.I hope all goes well for you. Please tell us what you find out.Good luck!Diane K.
Diane is totally right. As a consumer who pays for a service, you are entitled to what you asked and paid for. While I agree that it's very important that you expres how upset, angry, or whatever best describes your sentiment, I have also found that when you approach the manager/owner in first and foremost a *professional* way (try not to scream, yell or cry! although after a bad haircut, I would be all too ready to scream, yell and cry myself!), they'll be much more eager to compensate you, and do so graciously, generously.good luck!

If one of our customer recieved a bad haircut, first we see if it is fixable. if not and the customer is unhappy, some managers will offer that if they go back to the manager that person will cut it for free on the next cut. but if you a extremly upset, and im sure you are, the money is usually refunded. But yes deffinately go back into the salon and let the manager look at it and talk to her.
